ITV's hit daytime show This Morning endured one of the most turbulent years in the show's history.
The flagship magazine-style programme which covers a variety of different subject matters was hit with a number of devastating blows throughout 2023 which saw it lose viewers and awards alike. This Morning produced one of the biggest scandals of the year when long-standing presenter Phillip Schofield decided to step down from his role in May.
Phillip, 61, admitted to having an affair with a younger member of staff who worked on the show and he also confessed that he failed to adhere to ITV protocols. The programme's second major blow came months later when presenter Holly Willoughby decided it was her time to step down too in October.

Since then, fans have had to become accustomed to a number of different hosts on a daily basis. This included host Josie Gibson and new presenter Emma Willis taken the reins.
With the show hanging in the balance, AI has waded in on what the future of This Morning is set to look like. And whether there is more disruption that lies ahead.
Future 'uncertain'
According to AI, the future of This Morning still remains to be "uncertain". However AI thinks new presenters could possibly bring a fresh perspective.
